ABOUT LINDA GARRETT
Linda Garrett started her career as a Process Engineer at GE Plastics, a division of General Electric Company, before moving to Marketing and Sales at the pharmaceutical company, Merck and then its start up joint venture, Astra Merck (now Astra-Zeneca).
Throughout her 14-year corporate career, Linda worked in leadership positions in instructional design and training, product and corporate strategic planning, communications and change management.
Linda founded Garrett Consulting in 2000, specializing in training and communications within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
In 2002, Linda also joined the faculty at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, instructing MBA and PhD students in the area of persuasion, small group influence, speaking under pressure, crisis communication and group facilitation. During her nine years at Wharton, she was privileged to develop communication programs for and work one-on-one with some of Wall Street’s most trusted companies and their executive teams, often in multi-year engagements.
Linda expanded her consulting practice to Asia in 2012, relocating to Hong Kong and re-branding her business as Garrett Global Consulting. In addition to her work as the Managing Director of Garrett Global, she lectures and writes business cases for the School of Business, University of Hong Kong.
It is Linda’s unique blend of corporate experience and academic excellence that makes her the well-respected “Corporate Professor” that she is.
